National Child Protection Systems – An Interagency Analysis in the East Asia and Pacific Region

The Report captures the findings of the inter-agency research (supported by ECPAT, ILO, Plan ARO, Save the Children, UNICEF and World Vision) which has reviewed the child protection system mapping and assessment in 14 countries across East Asia and the Pacific Region.

The recommendations of this analysis aim to guide different regional child protection actors towards child protection systems advancement, including creating a stronger evidence base for systems development, developing a common national system frameworks, designing systems fit for country contexts and seeking more resources to strengthen child protection systems.

The South Asian Report on the Child Friendliness of Governments

"What is" series, a set of child friendly materials, offers information about UN, its mechanisms and other important processes. It is hoped that these resources will enhance children's undertanding of the related topics and inspire them to get invovled in UN related processes. The booklets may also be used by adults who work with children, teachers, adolescents and young people who are considering ways to get involved in and to influence international agendas at the global level.
